“Young adult” = 18-25
These losers are in their 30’s (though they all look like a rough 45), are employed in professional positions, and grew up knowing that what goes online is forever

We really need to respect our elected leaders less.

They need to be constantly challenge and called out when they are lying. They need to called to task and help accountable constantly

And when they fail it needs to be broadcast so that people, when the time comes to choose again can do so well

Went to the No Kings at the beginning of the summer, brought the kids and it was great. Small gestures add up over time. And the more joy we bring to these events counters the narrative that we’re all anti-American terrorists bent on destruction

One of the things I love about conference season is talking with those parents who are so obviously excited to yell at teachers

The condescending tone, the subtle ways they let you know they think you’ve failed at life

Didn’t grow up in Tx but started teaching there. Had no idea what a mum was till my first HoCo

Now I use the one my wife made me as an example of a cultural artifact in my AP geography class

What’s sad is that you’re advocating to make the state better for everyone and they’d rather live in a place where infrastructure is falling apart, hospitals close and schools are a mess because at least that one trans kid can’t play softball
