I read it in between WoK and WoR but I’ve seen many different opinions on where it should fall in the reading order. Before WoR seemed like consensus but I’ve also seen before OB and even prior to Stormlight Archive altogether lol

I’m struck by the Trump administration’s attempt to redefine equality as discrimination against white people. This is a deeply racist idea that *equal outcomes* must be unfair, assuming white people are naturally at the top of the hierarchy.

In a statement, Mr. Zeldin suggested that environmental justice — which the agency defined in 2013 as “the fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race, color, national origin, or income” with respect to environmental laws — was tantamount to discrimination.

The SCOTUS piece is the one that irks me most because court reform was a genuine live issue at the start of Biden’s term. They forced it into a study group to ice everyone, and then did absolutely nothing on its recommendation. But now we get the bully pulpit for term limits and ethics reform.
