The fact she's not even sleeping through the nights and has to chat with them to make a deal about payment in order to "meet them irl" and "live with them", believing that dumb story despite it's just a vicious cycle full of sweet words but no actions, really sets me off

- It's one thing to be selfless and kind, but she's still just a person, and there are limits to how much she could continue sacrificing and be "okay"
- We know Madoka has issues with self-worth; even if she's unhappy she'd rather be the Goddess of the Universe even if its lonely

rewatching again and another major lie is that he says to Madoka that Kyubey might uplift humanity to an interstellar civilization, but then says to Homura that Kriemheld Gretchen will destroy Earth (in a timeline prior to when he talks about uplift, which means Kyubey was blatantly lying)

(bc Homura already is a magical girl and controls time), with that knowledge and advantage, Madoka gives her the request to go back in time and save her from being tricked and Homura then makes a promise and after reseting that timeline she becomes hardened and determined to keep that promise.
