My first title, Little Rocket Lab, has now been out for a week, and it's been huge for myself and @nomorerobots.io. We're at over 80,000 players, and a 93% positive rating on steam.

OCT 14 was the day in 2017 when we set a Guinness World Record for 3,734 Rosies all in one place!

The experience sent me on a local history jaunt to the Willow Run bomber plant, my first air show, the Yankee Air museum, where my Dad recorded an oral history of being stationed in Cold War Germany.

Searle wasn't always right, and he didn't weigh in on the latest advances before death, but he broke ground.

(Saddens me that these crucial concepts of AI were stripped from my recent game about the topic in the editing process. They are central to understanding our future with this tech.)

The agency part of that? Seems like they increasingly do. We're asking generative AIs to modify their own layers and layers of neural nets in way that we don't precisely understand, to achieve a goal. The outcomes are often surprising and unexpected. #AI

He also outlined a version of the alignment problem—AIs acting against against human values to achieve goals. He believed AIs would never have true agency and do that with intent, since they do not have a conscious.
