Rhetoric of hatred and division. It is all that a significant percentage want, say around 25% or so. They desire that people they hate are punished, not that their own lives improve. Farage provides plenty of scapegoats, and on leaving the ECHR, the list of vulnerable people grows dramatically.
Constant division and failure to co-operate by the so-called "progressive" parties now looks certain to condemn the country to fascism. UK will then join Russia/USA as third country that defeated fascism in the last century to succumb to it in the c21st. Defeating FR most urgent priority.....
Great idea, but until FR parties, Reform/Tory, commit to the EU, it won't happen. They aren't, by the way. Can't have a "hoky coky" situation. EU wouldn't let us in anyway with such huge division. Joining the SM/CU would be the best option in the short to medium term. However, fear still rules Lab.
If a "deal" has been done with the government not to shake up the BBC board, what is the other side of the story? Labour allows itself to be hammered daily, yet does nothing to counter the pro-Farage propaganda being spewed out by what we are still told is the "impartial" national broadcaster.
Robbie Gibb, anyone? "The Invisible Man" strikes yet again. This far-right Farage pushing character is, seemingly, untouchable as the lead player in the destruction of the BBC. No longer an impartial outlet, it is currently on a mission to install NF into No 10. Lisa Nandy simply sits and watches.
The OAP's are voting for him in their droves, though, aren't they? Most are in complete ignorance as to his NHS plans and destruction of food and medical supplies. In many cases, they will be voting themselves into an earlier than expected grave. They love his rhetoric of hatred and division.
The Robbie Gibb run BBC is assisting Farage on his way to No 10. His is way ahead in the polls now, and nothing must be allowed to "get in the way." BBC guilty as hell in "normalising" the far-right.
What about here, though? Farage's mates in press/MSM, esp BBC, won't/don't report what is actually going on within ReformUK, eg, did Farage accept bribes like his mate Gill, to spout Russian propaganda when an MEP? The Fagash One is given free publicity daily. No outlet warns of dangers of fascism.
If the so-called "progressive" vote is split multiple ways and Farage wins an overall majority as a result, this Green surge will have been totally in vain. Only way to defeat fascism is to co-operate, and it is not happening any time soon.
When PM, he will go "totally rogue." No NHS, no human rights, 51st state/USA, Trump/Putin sycophancy, abandon Euro allies, unelected cronies into cabinet, pursuit of political opponents, banning of unfriendly media, underfunding of state education. Look across pond to what his "hero" is doing.
Very scary when Farage becomes PM. Do we become the 51st state of USA, abandon European allies, and basically be in the orbit of Trump and his Kremlin pal Putin? Apart from Orban, there are now a few FR nutters near power in the EU to help divide. Where are secure supplies of food/meds coming from?
Distraction, and there will be plenty more, from Farage's Russian issue. Did he parrot Russian propaganda when an MEP for free, or did he take a bribe like his mate Gill? If he was offered a bribe, did he report it to the relevant authority, and if not, why not?
Another one! However, as long as the rhetoric of hatred and division continues daily, most ReformUK voters are not remotely bothered. Farage knows they vote emotionally, so gives them a constant stream of scapegoats to blame. Ignorance re the ECHR will be a big factor when he walks into DS.
Co-operation is essential now ir Farage will have free rein in number ten. Progressives seem more interested in knocking lumps out of each other than uniting against fascism though.
Farage has learnt the "arts of deception and denial" from his far-right American masters. When PM, he will be able "re-write" his own history without any scrutiny from his press mates. As they are already treating him as the de facto PM, we have two versions of events right now.
Why is Labour as low as 17%, and ReformUK as high as 35% then? Room for some error with these figures, but such a difference is now almost impossible to surmount. To Farage supporters, reality is irrelevant. They vote emotionally, and the damage is already done.
Unless you co-operate with Labour yes, it must stick in the throat, Lib Dems, SNP and PC, a far-right Farage led administration will be confirmed between now and 2029. Idealogical "purity" means you wish an overall majority. However, harsh reality dictates that you must swallow your pride.
