When I first heard cartels were putting bounties on ICE agents I was ready to believe it.

Then I saw the source was the Department of Homeland Security and I laughed and know it's bullshit. Because they don't tell the truth.

I'd trust the word of the cartels over DHS.

Unfortunately for Illinois a LOT of the state, while very sparsely populated, is DEEPLY red. I think in my county like a few percent of us regularly vote blue and that's it and it's like that everywhere around me too.

Marjorie Taylor Greene lately has been further left in quite a few of her opinions than the vast majority of the Democratic party.

But the dems will still run on the idea that they're the progressive party.

They aren't. There is not major progressive party with national traction in the US.

Not just pursue bipartainship with Nazis but literally laid the framework for Nazis to be in charge. Who literally donated thousands if not hundreds of thousands of dollars to their campaign because they thought "we can beat that candidate but not the moderate." And who are paid by the same AIPAC.

I just saw someone say ICE seems Hamas-like. No the fuck they don't. They're worse. I'm not condoning Hamas but they are a direct response to an 80+ year occupation filled with torture, murder, rape, and genocide. Every media outlet calling all the people released by Hamas "hostages" and all the people released by Israel "prisoners" is complicit in a genocide and is using language to dehumanize the Palestinians and give extra sympathy to Israelis. It's the most blatant propaganda I've seen in a long time.
