Unfortunately for Illinois a LOT of the state, while very sparsely populated, is DEEPLY red. I think in my county like a few percent of us regularly vote blue and that's it and it's like that everywhere around me too.

Marjorie Taylor Greene lately has been further left in quite a few of her opinions than the vast majority of the Democratic party.

But the dems will still run on the idea that they're the progressive party.

They aren't. There is not major progressive party with national traction in the US.

Not just pursue bipartainship with Nazis but literally laid the framework for Nazis to be in charge. Who literally donated thousands if not hundreds of thousands of dollars to their campaign because they thought "we can beat that candidate but not the moderate." And who are paid by the same AIPAC.

Every media outlet calling all the people released by Hamas "hostages" and all the people released by Israel "prisoners" is complicit in a genocide and is using language to dehumanize the Palestinians and give extra sympathy to Israelis. It's the most blatant propaganda I've seen in a long time.
