I just saw Raoul Peck’s Orwell film, and it’s masterful. It’s good for clarifying where we really are in terms of fascism and totalitarianism. Orwell: 2+2=5.

I just hope that the terrible bombing finally stops, and that the U.N. can get mega quantities of aid into Gaza for the Palestinian people, and that all of the hostages are released, and can return to their families. 🕊️

I think that their system of government makes it hard to remove a sitting President. Under the Westminster system of government, he would have been removed by his own party for an obvious multitude of dysfunctional behaviours. 🙏

The big lie can only survive for so long, eventually it is consumed by the harsh reality that it has created. Once the majority of people who have been forced to live that reality decide to unite, then the momentum is over powering, and the lie collapses, and in East Germany's case so did the Wall.
