this is age-old discourse, i can't believe i'm seeing someone say this sincerely in 2025. this is a fake problem located entirely within a specific type of fandom. there is plenty of non-gay art about male friendship and being gay continues to be much more stigmatized than "men being friends"

Gee why do these months feel so overwhelming--
eight medical appointments (one of which is a surgery i will be under for) plus two blood tests across october and november - all the while i only just recovered from pneumonia in september
