Of course I can I could always watch certain films on my own accord now, but because I'm so used to not watching television or movies, I haven't had any interest in to catch up on anything, if that makes sense

I think a lot of me not being exposed to certain films in my formative years (especially popular ones made/released in most Western countries) has to do with me having pious immigrant parents. My parents and my eldest sister were very strict with the types of media I was able to consume

If this is a reference to the film, I apologize because I don't get it as I've never watched it. If not, he was definitely a firefighter. I remember the clunky hat and me drowning in the oversized fire suit

When I was in Kindergarten, my elementary school had a local firefighter come over and explain what they did on the job. The spokesperson also chose me to model the firefighter suit!! I felt so special that day 😭 I'll totally post the picture when I find it.
