The way the younger people at my job talk about AI is really concerning 😬 they are 1000% on board and don’t give a shit about the impact on the environment nor on their own brains.

This guy uses chatGPT for EVERYTHING, he’s offshoring his critical thinking to a bot.

I joined social media about ten years ago, when I was lonely and really seeking connection and people that enjoyed the things I enjoy. It worked.

Now the algorithms just feed me opinions of people I disagree with in a thinly veiled attempt to keep me engaged

I’ve been talking with my therapist and I’m trying to find some way to compartmentalize a little bit, because frankly this last year has been terrible for my mental health, my passions, and even connections with friends.

Idk, just ranting and getting this out somewhere. It’s impacting my ability to enjoy the things I enjoy. Sometimes I think of tuning it out, because I don’t know what good I’m doing just being miserable, but I know it’s wrong to bury my head in the sand. Just at a loss lately.

I’ve been depressed since November (I wonder why) and I’m having a harder and harder time just going through daily life.

The bombardment of terrible news and the slide into fascism has been excruciating and isolating and I’m just so tired. I don’t stream enough anymore because I’m constantly sad

Was super excited for a free game where friends could join in and kinda exist and skate around, it sounds so fun on paper.

I’m fine if they make their money on cosmetics/battle passes, but the core game is just so incredibly bare bones and, frankly, not pretty to look at.
