Those days,
When you have to find the headwaters
For healing.

Good morning, friends.

It's another #EasySunday❣️

What easy plans are in the works for you today?

Me, I'm starting a much needed digital detox.

So, 'til later, whatever YOU do today, keep it good, and keep it easy.

p.s. check my Ko-fi, the usual Sunday stories are over there.

But you caught some fish! ❣️❣️❣️

You're right about the link between sporting events and junk food. 😯
My diet has been mostly plant based since 1991 as well. 🙂
I do eat fish when my body feels feels for it.
I'm not upset with anyone who enjoys a good steak, tho. 🙂

Interesting article.
What, perhaps, is the real solution, if any at all?
The article speaks of a plant based diet, which I am 💯 in agreement with, but then other issues arise.
Whatever we do, it just have to be in balance.

I always read what you share, Hugo.
I respect your opinions.🙂

😊😊😊
Good answer.

We don't shear our sheep..they do develop a heavier coat later in the year but it drops off naturally over time, which makes them look sheared.

Sun has decided,
enough is enough,
dark clouds be gone,
I’ve got to dry my stuff!

Sunlight breaks through scattered clouds over lush green trees and leaves still wet from earlier rain, the bright sky giving the sense of a sudden clearing after days of grey.

I actually thought of you when I saw the skies, Mike 😄
But the sun is now out. Well, it's getting there.

Near frozen, already? Whar happened to Autumn? I haven't been seeing any fall colours.

They can leave us with some rain..nothing else. 🙂

Thank you for accepting the inspiration, Penny.

Saturday strays,
they walk about feeding like they own the entire countryside.

Sheep or goats, can you tell?

Thank you, Becky. It's the tail end of a tropical storm, we will use the weather for planting. 🙂
Have an enjoyable weekend, yourself.

Every kind of weather has its purpose.
When it's sunny we harvest, and when it's rainy, we plant.

We'll be doing some, ehem, plantain today. 😁 🌱

Several freshly dug plantain suckers with roots exposed lie on green grass, ready for replanting. Their bright leaves contrast with the dark, damp soil — a clear sign of a day’s work on the farm. 🌱

Good morning friends from a still-heavily overcast island in the sun.
I could use words like grey and dreary, but there's never anything grey or dreary about nature when beauty lurks between the shades and the shadows.

Happy Saturday. 🌱
A view of lush green tropical trees beneath a heavy grey sky. The light is soft and muted, with clouds hanging low over the landscape, giving the scene a quiet, reflective calm.
