I discovered Discworld through a second hand book shop. I think Sir Terry Pratchett would have been proud to know that the Unseen Library twisted time and space to reach out with a copy of Small Gods in my part of the world!

Hotel Fen - The name of the hotel where the story takes place.

Monster Ridge - As in, that's a huge (monster) mountain (ridge).

Mist Gallows - Gallows are for hanging. Mist = death. People are gonna die. Ragnarok time baby!

Query opinions out there says to use comps from the last five years. And I did in some of my query letters, but Du Maurier and Mishima really paints an accurate picture. A beta reader also said my book reminded them of a more subdued Story of O though...so 🤷‍♀️👀 #DVPit
