Looking for a dystopian novella to read this hot soupy summer? Like supporting indie authors? Want to read about not the hero of the story?

💙📚
Blue background with white lettering. Centered is the cover of A Second Life Worth Living.
Reads: "Ben has already died once and is so over it, dark & dystopian, Second chances, found family, finding purpose"

I checked and it's not available. I'd request it but the library charges for an admin fee and they don't even guarantee that they'll order it 🥲😅 I'd love an ebook in the meantime, do you need my email or my Kindle address?

This is the last weekend to grab this bundle! True to form, I’ve not focused enough on promoting this one.

I'm sure I will, your books have never disappointed me! Thank you again so much 🥹

I'm really enjoying it! I'm updating my progress on Goodreads — since this isn't a paid gig, I don't feel there's a conflict of interest in leaving a review. So I will 😄

My son chose this book today with me on our trip into town.

It's really good! He's already designed his own fantasy map and wrote the things he's encountered in a journey across the map.

Maybe I'll be promoting his books in a few years 👀

Hi Karen, that sounds exactly like my cup of tea! I'm still in the middle of another book but I'll get to yours as soon as I can if that's okay? ☺️

I really recommend browsing a reddit called "Is this AI?" for this purpose. people post questionable images and commenters weigh in on their validity, but are required to provide specifics as to their reasoning. once you start seeing the signs, it gets easier and easier over time

Remember, this is how much it has cooked people’s brains after like one year. Think of what 10 years of this will do. Think of the brains of kids who will grow up not only unable to spot AI but unable to understand “real” and “AI generated” as two different concepts.

"even if it's AI, it's at least true" hard to overstate the damage this stuff is doing to people's brains. we're gonna be cleaning the slop out of archives for decades

"Flesh. Her skin and bone limited her, falsely classified her as something she abhors. None would listen to her pain and struggles, so she forged her own body, her own future; the world itself be damned."

✨ What do the titles of your books REALLY mean? ✨

Hotel Fen - The name of the hotel where the story takes place.

Monster Ridge - As in, that's a huge (monster) mountain (ridge).

Mist Gallows - Gallows are for hanging. Mist = death. People are gonna die. Ragnarok time baby!
