Hot Tip: if MarkItDown-MCP isn't working for you right now, it may be because you've upgraded to Python 3.14 (yay) but there are no wheels published for this version. You can fix by pinning the previous version like this:

Congrats to @warpdotdev for adding detailed usage reporting in the latest release. This was a common source of frustration with tool for me and for other users, that put me off using it more intesely. Very cool that this was added and we've got more clarity.

One of my favourite features in @code / @GitHubCopilot is snoozing code completion. I still write code sometimes, and benefit from completion. But more often than not, these days, I let AI write the code, while I write specs and text. And completion is not great for that.

Remember the "inner circle" onion: every time you think you've made it and you're now part of the "inner circle", you realise that: 1. the inner circle is full of normal people just like you, 2. there are even more inner circles you're not in yet. Don't worry about that too much.

ByteDance and Alibaba can just use their own models, but if you want to do business and fund your work as a startup, you need to win attention and credibility and partner on building solutions. Last night we went to see the Little Mermaid (the queer, drag version) at the Schauspielhaus Zürich. So beautiful and moving (and funny, and sad, and energising). There are only 4 more dates before it goes off the stage. Very warmly recommended.
