An attack seems unlikely...they would've ambushed her long before she had made it here if they wanted to...

Upon reaching tbe village she'd find a few younger looking bugs wandering about their days...who quickly scattered into the safety of their hollowed trunks and burrows

The Vortex still acts as their true leader. Speaking to the moths as needed to guide them.

The barrier between the true world and the Vortex is quite thin. And is able to be broken by the Carrio. But to do so is considered a sin of the highest order due to its unpredictable nature.

The people of Carrio are all parasitic moths, living in darkness and scavenging to survive

The rare times they leave their homes. Its to hunt. Ambushing any bug who strays too close to
