Had a nice conversation with the shift manager who did not realize it was the playoffs or an elimination game or overtime and honestly we all thought we’d all be out of here by now. We are in agreement.

I’m at a bar and grill in San Francisco that did last call ten minutes ago but now they’re saying there are too many people here to kick everyone out. Baseball is incredible.

I mean they should officiate it better then. But it’s funny how no one can stop it when the Eagles run it but when anyone else runs it it’s an average-at-best play.

A lot of airport lounges aren’t really a luxury experience. It’s normal chairs and you’re crammed in there. The food and drinks are mid, but they’re free! (But some lounges let you pay for access.) It’s a funny conundrum. Sometimes it’s better to just go to the regular airport bar.

Yeah I think most places in California use that pronunciation but the SF neighborhood decided to be different.

The original name is Portolá. The neighborhood in San Francisco goes by The PORD-uh-luh, which is somehow closer to the original Catalan than the port-OL-a pronunciation.

I dislike horror movies. Recently watched Jaws for the first time on a plane, and it’s old enough that it’s moved solidly from horror to camp. Fun movie!
