First Minister John Swinney is about to open an important debate on how we win Scotland’s independence at #SNP25

Watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fnJmSKDIpuc
John Swinney, wearing a dark suit, white shirt, and purple tie stands at a yellow podium with microphones, speaking on stage at the SNP Annual Conference. The large letters “SNP” are displayed on the screen behind them. The speaker gestures with one hand raised and an index finger pointed upward.

We’ve seen what Westminster chaos brings - it’s time to take control and build a fairer, more hopeful Scotland. The need for independence has never been greater. #SNP25

We’ll fight the 2026 election on what independence can do for Scotland - building the mandate, the movement and the plan to make it happen. #SNP25
Graphic: Independence: A Fresh Start for Scotland.” The text lists six key points: fight the 2026 election on what independence can do for Scotland, win a Holyrood majority for a lawful referendum, deliver a democratic legal path back into the EU, launch a Scottish Constitutional Convention, build a cross-party civic campaign, and publish a shared independence plan and clear answers for voters. SNP and Scottish flag logos appear at the bottom, with a circular “YES” badge at the top right.

Starmer blaming #Brexit for tax rises may be accurate but when only 37% of a now disproportionately dead electorate voted for it almost 10 yrs ago, based on undeliverable lies, the questions are why should the rest of us stomach it & where is Labour’s plan to change that? archive.ph/2025.10.10-2...

Ever since I finished Question Time, Reform have massively been on the attack.

Including a rant from Richard Tice entirely designed to distract from Reform and Russia.

Everyone should know about Nathan Gill, the bribes from Russia and the link to Reform.

Scotland does need independence but how do we get it? Asking WM permission to even have a vote will be met with a no as Starmer has repeatedly said. This is no union, this is a prison that Scotland needs to free itself from somehow.

Do not ever forget that the problems this country still face are down to 14yrs of neglect from the Tories.
14yrs of lying in your face.
14yrs of law breaking and diverting public funds to rich donors.
14yrs of undermining decency and respect.
Need I go on? I could but surely you see who fckd us over

Teesside’s freeport, initiated in 2021 under Rishi Sunak, has cost £560 million far exceeding the standard £25 million allocation (22 times the standard £25m).
90% profits go to the private sector.
This clearly shows the UK model of State aid post-Brexit is utterly corrupt.

Really privileged to meet Sid Khan today - a remarkable Scot who joined the Global Sumud Flotilla in solidarity with the people of Palestine.

His compassion and courage in standing up for peace and justice speak to who we are as a nation. 🇵🇸🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

If you want to create a docile, obedient nation, first attack the arts so you deskill children of critical thinking. Once you’ve done that the people can be moulded as their rulers please. Beware this barbarism. It’s a path to demagoguery and authoritarianism

Scotland has enormous resources and huge potential, but we are being held back by Westminster governments that treat us like an afterthought.

It’s time for a fresh start. An independent Scotland.

Today I have published our latest paper on what it could look like: www.gov.scot/publications...

it’s decades of tired incompetent and corrupt Westminster govts (including Labour) since the 60’s that have shafted UK’s working people. We are on our knees & whilst the voters in England are seeking change thro’ ring wing policies in Scotland we have a bigger and better option: INDEPENDENCE 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

And we will be when the universal credit benefit system is funded & run by London. Benefits were cut substantially two years ago & 59% of universal credit recipients are in work. The problem is: austerity, brexit, the continuation of austerity & £3trn is offshored by billionaires not in economy
