I just use the machine name instead of the ip address, so for me it's http://jellyserver:port number instead of ip addresss:port number, which is honestly way easier to remember anyway

It's actually super easy. Add the server and whatever you want to use for remote access to your Tailscale device list, and as long as it's running on both you're good to go, no exit nodes or anything required.

I'm running Jellyfin (free, open-source) on a small pc I bought secondhand on ebay. And if you use something like Tailscale (free for small-scale personal use) you can even access it from meshed devices off your local network. Building your library is oddly satisfying. ๐Ÿ˜‚

If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.
Rude Rude or impolite, including crude language and disrespectful comments, without constructive purpose. Highlighted Off, darkened Warn, and darkened Hide buttons.

I've loved the Old Kingdom books by Garth Nix, especially Sabriel, for so long. A kingdom full of the shambling dead is scary enough, but some of the dead are actively plotting and that's so much worse.
