I was there. It was civil and small - maybe 15 citizens and two speaking MNDoT reps.

All the citizens were advocating for more community-oriented options than what exists.

MNDoT seemed stolid in their position that at-grade was a non-starter.

I’d love for others to chime-in with their takes.

This is rusty old #bollard sports the most punk-rock rendering of the #trans flag ever! 🏳️‍⚧️

This seems like the kind of event the @tcbikeparking.bsky.social community should know about. I’ll be there.

I just “fell?” Like no one/thing pushed it? That’s disconcerting.

I love #BikeTag as a way to stretch my visual arts muscles.

Hoo-ray! I’ve been waiting for your take on this. Thanks so much. 🤗

Late to the party, but I store my Spicy Curry standing up in the corner of my apartment. I’m sure the Kombi has the same secret feature. Just to add to your options.

@tcbikeparking.bsky.social Grainger #499 on Plato Blvd in St Paul. B-? A+?

You can lock to the handicap signs outside and feel quite secure about it (B-) or you can roll right in through the automatic door for easy loading, and no one will bat an eye (A+).

Another way to tell that #GenX is now in #retirement age: MN Aging Pathways offered this extra-long shoehorn, the kind with teeth.
#TMBG
Plastic shoehorn about 14” long with “Minnesota Aging Pathways” printed on it Detail showing that it doubles as a back-scratcher with a 90° bend at the end and five prongs that could be called teeth.

It’s a good point, though I have to give credit to the journalist for calling it murder and, at least in the main headline, saying it was he who struck them and not implying that his car was to blame.

I’m sobbing. For the state of things that got us here. For the beauty of a community standing up for its neighbors. For hope that there will be justice.

Near the end you see the guy walk free.

Wait, ICE, Border Patrol, and Law Enforcement will be immediately arrested? That’s what the new law says! 🤷‍♀️

I spotted Lime scooter 0001 yesterday. “Now that’s a piece of history right there!” I thought; only to stumble upon 0011 a few minutes later. I started to wonder if they were numbered in binary, but just for funzies.

At least it was just a car and not an e-bike! 💥 /s

Surely there were more efficient ways of locating this mural than mine - call up a map of the Chroma Zone and hit as many numbers on it until one rings a bell - but none better.

@tcbikeparking.bsky.social Merriam Park Public Library (SPPL). Grade: A. Separated from the street, space for bikes on either side of your own, enough of it, well trafficked. I’m even tempted to give it a “+” for the e-bait-bike that’s locked by cable, but that feels cruel.

If you’re a Saint Paul voter, please consider what a failed school referendum would look like for our city. $37.2million would have to be cut from anything our district is not contractually obligated to provide, from Pre-K to music and sports.

Vote YES 🫶

Graphic that lists what’s at risk of being cut if the Saint Paul school referendum fails:

Pre-k, art music and theater programs, athletics and extracurricular activities, language immersion, transportation, college and career readiness.

Protected programs include special education and English language learner programs.

OMG - your kid is right there! It’s bad enough that you’re offering yourself as a sacrificial test subject. 🤦‍♀️
