I fear that Walz and the national Dem leadership are stuck in a world of obsession over optics. Obsessed with keeping the left/activist/mob in check.
And optics do matter!
But I think the optics that matter now are authenticity, courage, and meaningfully caring for each other. Agency.

Today Powderhorn Park was packed with thousands upon thousands of Minnesotans, remembering Renee, and saying ICE OUT of Minnesota.
As so many of us were there together, many others were out protecting neighbors, delivering groceries, and giving rides.

today i tried to get a neighbor abducted by ICE out of Whipple by bringing their paperwork down to get them out of the concentration camp in there, but they had already been moved to Texas. this was less than 48 hrs after their abduction.

Two ICE flights (with 127 and 47 deportees loaded) at MSP today, along with a USCG C-130 that brought in more DHS personnel from Louisiana, and the Air Force C-40 that brought in the congressional delegation that was denied access to visit the ICE detention facility at Whipple.
