It did not, but pretty much all of the maples in the collection looked like they had been trimmed up (which I imagine is a necessity for mowing some place like the Arboretum)

Yeah, that sort of prescription shift will definitely take a bit to get used to. I’d put them on first thing tomorrow morning after not wearing anything while sleeping overnight. Sometimes that’s enough of a reset for your brain to just click in and go “ah, gotcha, that’s how we’re seeing now”

I think this is the Maple in question! We were just at the Arb this weekend and it’s directly across from the Bee-Line Shuttle Stop for the Maple Collection & Harrison Sculpture Garden. It’s an absolute stunner!

No problem! I will say that if you’re on the fence about filling the new Rx, that amount of astigmatism correction change can make a world of difference in an Rx. If you currently feel like you could be seeing better out of your right eye, you probably could be!

Optician here. That honestly looks like a reasonable amount of prescription change for that time frame. The jump up in your cylinder power in the right eye is significant, but not uncommon. Refraction is not an exact science and prescriptions can vary by a small amount even day to day.

We had to write a letter of complaint as part of a Consumer Sciences class in Middle School. I wrote to Hostess after I found an empty wrapper filled w/ nothing but air in a box of Twinkies & they sent me a coupon for 10 cents off & I got a C on the assignment for not ‘making my case’ hard enough 😑

Speed Queens are no joke, my parents had one that was older than I was until it fatefully met its end a couple years ago due to lightning striking the electrical pole and surging back into the house and frying it. RIP.
