3. Reciprocity - in case of interactions; one-sided relationships don’t work

4. Engaging, topic-related content

5. A sense of humor
Things I value in #buildinpublic social media:

1. Openness - sharing both the wins and the struggles along the way

2. Authenticity - being honest and writing for yourself; marketing can align with that, but too much of it kills the vibe
Sunday evening, and I just fixed a bug for my customer. Few things in business feel this satisfying 👌

It makes sense to care about what the people important to you think (like family, friends, or customers) and not worry about what everyone else thinks.

One of the biggests problems with AI agents is that errors accumulate quickly, and after many steps the chance of finding a successful solution decreases rapidly.

The ultimate question for validation is: Does the product actually help users, and do they come back to use it regularly?
Still, I’m putting it out there for a few reasons:

1. I need real user data to improve the product and fix bugs.

2. Development has already taken longer than I expected.

3. MVPs aren’t supposed to be perfect anyway 😜
I’m sharing the MVP link with users testing my product. It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster — the more complete the “minimal” product gets, the more broken features I find, including core features. Looks like there’s still a learning curve with the tech. 👇

This is one thing I miss as a solopreneur. I think even solopreneurs should try to surround themselves with people they enjoy and admire working with—though it’s definitely harder to do than in a traditional job. The benefit is huge.
Yes, I have to admit—I enjoyed working with a skilled team and building that synergy together. Even though there was a lot of big talk (it’s funny how corporate projects start with grand visions that usually turn out to be unrealistic), collaborating with professionals was really satisfying.
A few days ago, I got back from a business trip for my corporate job. It was my first trip in years, so it’s been interesting to compare it with where I am in my career now. Did I actually enjoy it?
By framing it this way, the outreach feels less discouraging and any positive response becomes a pleasant surprise.
1. Most likely, the person won’t pick up the phone.

2. If they do, they might not be interested in trying the solution for free.

3. If they say yes, they might commit to an action but never follow through.

4. Best case, they’re interested, agree to test it, and actually give it a try.
Lowering expectations is a great approach for many marketing activities. Take a recruitment call, for example: #buildinpublic #marketing
It's amazing how difficult a collaboration with other people is when it's based on close/intense relationship and the stakes are high.
It’s been a few weeks since my last post. Why? I’ve been busy working on mvp, and honestly, social media isn’t high on my list of priorities.

After months of building, I can finally check off creating my first full-stack app. Every bit of progress is worth appreciating. The validation starts now!
With change comes new opportunity - LLMs have opened up an entirely new marketing channel for digital products.
This week, the imposter syndrome kicked in hard. I wonder: Is it because of the upcoming launch? Because I read the article? Other personal matters? Hidden are the subconscious influences.
I opened this article last week that discusses imposter syndrome. Wait... imposter syndrome? That's not relevant to me. I haven't even finished it.
Good point. Interacting with AI will make people even more isolated than they already are.
It’s Friday afternoon and I’m looking forward to shutting the laptop and heading into a weekend of family time, peace, nature, and recharging. 🌿

I love my job, but I’m really passionate about having free weekends.
We’ve been authenticating users in our apps using the HTTP “Authorization” header. But that’s actually a leftover from the past. The header’s name should really be “Authentication.”

Now it clicks why I kept confusing authentication with authorization.

I really miss getting constructive feedback instead of all this empty "nice job" stuff on social media.
It's hard to build a real friendship when people are interested in getting along well. This kind of interest often shows up in business relations, among coworkers, or when one person has a certain status. A deeper friendship tends to form when people stop caring so much about just getting along.
