Started to write it as a simple post, and then it exploded into the full-blown blog post. Plus, I wanted to share a few photos.

I hope you enjoy it 👉 screenshotone.com/blog/200000...

You 100% can build a business that makes money without:

- lying
- using "dark" marketing patterns
- attacking competitors
- compromising your integrity and values

You can. It is possible.

I have built a ChatGPT plugin to integrate my product, then there were custom GPTs, then I built an MCP.

I respect their pivots, but please, I hope Apps SDK is the last iteration and bet by OpenAI on adding integrations into ChatGPT and to bootstrap a marketplace.

The higher peak is not guaranteed.

I noticed it many times over the years. It makes me more resilient, and not rare, but the next stop is much higher rating.

Now, I think the same happened to me in the business. I reached a tiny local peak. And it is incredibly hard to destroy everything and rebuild from scratch.

Once I reach the peak of my performance with a new approach in chess, I am incredibly risk-averse to try something different. It is painful to go down in rating and the image I built of myself.

Since it is just a game, I then start experimenting and losing.

Maybe AI will help to cure cancer one day.

But first, we need to automate the generation of inputs and buttons using HTML/CSS.

It is a real survivorship bias. Those who were misdiagnosed by AI apparently can’t publish anymore or don’t go viral.

Seeing how AI writes code, I wouldn’t trust it with my medical diagnosis for something more serious than a headache.

AI will never automate what is truly fun for humans.

It was a slow month and I took a break from work. Yet shipped a few new features.

My September 2025 public report for ScreenshotOne.com:

"I should brag less about how many hours I worked and be more proud of how many hours I enjoyed life while my business has been growing and working almost on autopilot."

Build a social media scheduler, a screenshot API, or a marketplace if you want to.

Don’t listen to any advice. Do whatever you want.

Life is too short to make money.

Why getting out of the comfort zone and growing is really hard:

Don’t listen to anyone who says churn doesn’t matter.

Especially in the era of saturated marketing channels and fierce competition, attracting new customers will be tougher.

Reducing churn to keep your current customers will result in a better ROI, even more now.

Your moat is the number of iterations you make.

Don’t quit.

Cycled to the beach. Drunk a cup of coffee and read a book. Now, back to work.

Will I ever be able to sacrifice that to build a unicorn company?

Reading “Company of One”.

How did I miss that book? And didn’t it before?

You think we would work less with AI, but instead, companies fire people, and those who are left work the same or more.

Tough conversations helped keep our marriage running for years.

Communicating openly about whatever we feel is wrong. Sharing our desires and what we can do for everybody in the family to be happy and successful.

All hidden tensions and grievances explode eventually.

Developers switch between coding agents every week like they were switching between JavaScript frameworks before.

Ironically losing productivity gains because of the switch itself and talking about it.

If you are a people pleaser, don't try to get rid of that!

Use that as a tool in your customer support. Please your customers.
