Glad to see Nigel Farage has finally remembered Nathan Gill, former leader of Reform in Wales - found guilty of taking bribes from Russia.

Maybe he'll now remember how much he took from Putin's propaganda broadcaster Russia Today for all his TV appearances when he was a MEP?

How much has last season impacted on this season? Is there a psychological hangover like the year after we lost the play offs? Last year we had a common enemy. It fired us into a rare togetherness. Is that a hard act to follow? Wing and Savage in particular are half the players they were.

This is indeed a rousing read. Bravo Claire Stoneman. 👇

NEW POST

This is pretty niche but I enjoyed writing it :) It’s on three things I’m really interested in:

1. Attention
2. Pre-Reformation graffiti
3. How the annoying it is that the working class continue to be patronised

Satanists! As there is no description of the Devil in the Bible he/she had to be invented by artists! They did a fabulous job of imagining the unimaginable. So in Art’s Most Satanic next Tuesday on Sky Arts at 9pm I throw caution to the waves and go Devil hunting! And I end up in weird places!

Devil lovers! Next Tuesday’s in Art’s Most Satanic on Sky Arts I look at how art invented the devil. There’s no description of him/her in the Bible so artists had to come up with something. And they did!

@bendorgrosvenor.bsky.social @januszczak.bsky.social Listened to the latest podcast episode on the way to work & thought 'Clearly Bacchus is in danger of a T-Rex attack, how have they not realised that?' Then I clocked the still carafe wine & realised you're pros & must've ruled that out already.

Art enthusiasts! September 30th !
🙌🙌🙌 @januszczak.bsky.social brand new series on Sky Arts !

Set yizzer recorders now !
Can’t wait! 🥰

Forget the Wuthering Heights! There’s stuff going on in my new series for Sky Arts that would make Heathcliff’s hair fall out! As Margot Robbie said: ‘Waldemar showed us the cliff. The rest of us must follow him over it’.
- Set the controls for Sept 30!

Violence - it’s swirling about us with fresh vigour. But it’s always been there. And art has always been around to record it. That’s the subject of the 2nd film in my new series on Sky Arts. I love Kenneth Clark’s ‘Civilisation’ but it did avoid huge slabs of crucial territory.
