Charley Girl forever. RIP until we’re together again. 💔
So many times in my life where people ask me questions like, Well why didn’t you do “X” about “Y”? And the answer I don’t give is that I don’t care about the problem, proposed solution or outcome. 😆 Many elementary school teachers taught me the hard way I’m not supposed to say that out loud. 💗
My watch is so bad at recording my swims. I really need to figure this out. 😆 it shorted me about 700m.

So many of my colleagues laughed at me for saying this… but… a few colleagues didn’t… and I think they saved a LOT of lives in the first few years.

The Amazing World Of Tomorrow
There’s something really special about coming home from a swim and pulling part of your snack straight off the vine. I wish balcony gardening were more accessible to others.
have to work down to keep my HR below 140.

One of the biggest cross training lessons ppl never learn is that it’s good to find new ways to work your heart out, e.g. heat training, etc.
When people ask me why running is always a better workout for me, as opposed to swimming, I show them my HR trends on my watch. It’s incredibly difficult for me to get my HR above 140 while swimming- even sprinting. Always been that way, unless I’m swimming a 200+ fly. Running? I really have

Government SHIT down.
Unpaid government workers are being fed by World Central Kitchen…let that sink in just how dire things are.
Or the boycott is just working. I mean yes, recession is looming, but also- BOYCOTTS WORK.

Sincerely, someone who lives two blocks from one and now refuses to shop there.

When folks ask why I have a nespresso- because I value my time and work hard for my money 😆
the fun thing about home espresso brewing is it will absolutely not save you money, especially if you are the kind of person who tends to become obsessive about technical details

Things I love about this day: easy miles in the pool, easy miles on the treadmill at the gym (along with a lil gremlin selfie), and friends coming over for wine and cheese and time on the balcony and building this piece of furniture for me. Lucky to have such kind hearted friends ☺️💗☺️💗
Walked straight to the dog park to see Charley’s bff after my swim. Ignore my goggle-marks. Pure joy.
Happy voting day, CA!!!! If you can’t find your ballot (like me), you can still show up in person and make your vote heard today!
Went to check in on the barista from yesterday and thankfully she’s okay. LAPD showed up 20 minutes later sadly.

OMW to the pool now, dressed in my usual FOB gear (can literally hear my Auntie Dar calling me a FOB 😆), and glad my slot is in the middle of the day so I don’t have to walk home scared
Did not love this about my day.
This guy chased after me this morning on my way to work yelling obscenities at me (shoutout to the silver SUV who veered in the street and rolled down their windows to yell at him to leave me the fuck alone), and then came up to me at the coffee shop on my break and stole my food and coffee and then
