What's so funny is that some rich people do take the bus and it's basically free to them already. But they care about service. But Cuomo won't attack him on that?!? Or how Zohran's goal of free and fast are in direct tension.

But - even if he did, it still helps Zohran as voters don't care about granular policy details. What they care about are values. And Z is saying public transit is important and I care and I will try [even if, free and fast are in direct tension with each other]. And I love that! A pro-transit mayor!

It's funny how he stans for this cohort. To the extent they exist, the cost is nothing to them. But what they want, are faster buses (which is in direct tension with the free bus plan). But Cuomo can't make the "Zohran is cutting service" argument since he's such a poor politician.
