I’m halfway through James Ellroy’s the Black Dahlia and I can’t believe Brian DePalma fucked up the movie when they had casted Josh Hartnett and Aaron Eckhart as Bliechert and Blanchard respectively. Reboot it as a prestige tv streamer please. They already did a graphic novel reboot with Fincher

The one that kills me is the city wide speed limit for e-bikes at 15 mph now in NYC. Our local street speed limit is 25 mph. My e-bike has a governor of 20 mph. When I am going 21 mph on local streets, cars tolerate me. If I’m going 15 mph, they threaten to kill me.

I’m becoming negatively polarized by the “gifted kids” on Bluesky reminding everyone that Puerto Ricans are American citizens. Thank you for your sharing your “I can check Wikipedia” depth of knowledge…. Because the normies are still correct to think of it as another nation, because it is!

It’s like they were playing with a handicap when Ruben was in charge and Carrick lets them play. Imagine being managed by a guy who just constantly talks shit about the team and players. Cunha and Mbueno are class. Bruno with shooters who can run is a great combo. The defense is still weak.

It’s illegal to teach sociology in FL and we had to endure a fucking campaign from the biggest fakers in the world that protesting Milo on campus was the worst academic censorship. These frauds should be shamed and drummed out of polite company. Frauds. All of the.
I do want to shout-out my fellow sociologists, who have collectively created a discipline so woke that not a single one of our introductory textbooks can make it past Florida's censors.
