#drawing tonight, before I ran off to look at inks.
Two halflings - a rogue or scout and a heavily armored fighter - make their way across a ruined gate. So far the immense minotaur below hasn’t noticed them, but will their luck last?

Tonight is the night I watch The Surfer. I hear it’s pretty Nic Cage-y, so count me in.

Fortress 3 is out in a week. I’m super happy with this double page. Felt like I captured what I was going for.
Thanks to everyone that’s wandered out into the wastelands with me so far. While we’re out here, let’s make a party of it. Tell your friends, your mum, your high school crush 💥💥💥

I feel this. If my work ethic was better I’d be much further ahead than I am.

Here's a few of the FULL TILT wraparound sketch covers I did for the sketch cover version of the ashcan I made for the book. I have a whole book of the sketch covers I did up at the link below.

I think my next book will be in an 11" x 11" format and done all in 2 page spreads. I'm looking to get 19x24 pads of bristol and drawing the spreads 11.5"x23" piece of paper (just slightly larger then print size).

I try to keep my love of the act of drawing fresh by challenging how I make my work. I try to stay out of a drawing comfort zone so that the drawing process feels daring/scary. I draw most pages with very little of it pre-drawn, more like straight to ink. I give room for "happy accidents" to happen.
