Older'n dirt. Sort of the half way point between Georgia redneck and intellectual Jewish New Yorker. Lives in PNW. Furry. Environmentalist/leftist politically. Draws and says funny stuff, successfully sometimes even.

currently the rest of the party is in a tabaxi's tent, trading fey silk for guide services to a temple they let our new party member talk us into investigating.

I however am in the middle of the street, rolling Intimidation and convincing anyone passing by they don't want to come any closer. #DnD

apparently going "pspspspsps" at the local tabaxi does not, in fact, coax them over to talk to you. #DnD

proposed WtA one shot where the PCs are largely Fianna and Bone Gnawers investigating Logan County *during* the Battle of Blair Mountain. What's inside that Mountain the coal barons want to dig up so badly it can't wait? And why's the government so involved it's bringing in new Weaver technology?

Yes. That’s faith vs works. But they’re also sure everything they do is good no matter who it hurts and how.
hey do like all american evangelicals think the way it works is that you can do as much evil stuff as you want but if you're on the books as a christian you go to heaven at the end
he’s gonna get outed as a sex pest, isn’t he

“Coyote Stories” has as per title some very coyote song, but “Hand That Feeds” also works for the Bone Gnawers and Silent Striders tribes of Garou. (Packmate in my WtA game is a Gnawer so they’re on my mind more than usual.)

There was a time before recorded media was easily available. If you missed it on TV or in theaters, you missed it. VHS technology really changed everything; you could record that show you really wanted or go to Blockbuster and pick up that movie.
Without revealing your actual age, what's something you remember that if you told a younger person they wouldn't understand?

something something Zootopia 2 didn't actually include a blockwar between Birute Galdikas Block and L David Mech Block civ-def forces, and Nick and Judy traveling to Brit-Cit

with the sequel my hopes of getting Judy's clone saga or a showdown with the Deadworld ZPD gets further and further away

Listening to a child have a meltdown about a dropped snack, I am relieved not to have children, but not the usual way. It takes so little for a kid to deeply feel real tragedy; I don’t think I could pretend to be a reassuring adult in the face of that AND still handle my own grief.

much as I like Space Wolves I’m pretty sure if I played 40K I’d play Imperial Fists or Lamenters so I could easily spot dropped models

see also Yme-Loc, Iyanden, and orange Leagues of Votann for other armies I might like

HOT BEATLES TAKE “Help” is him talking to a songbird (“I’m feeling down, and I do appreciate you being round”), since “Blackbird” on the White Album is the follow up.

Again I really hate how our parties are the people who actively hate and are trying to kill everyone and everything I value, versus people who are okay with everyone and everything I value dying as long as they get a tech/real estate boom out of the deal.

After work do I;
1) read through this big gorgeous model magazine
2) draw animals and/or vehicles from imagination
3) ink over existing pencils

Neither really work well with ADHD emotional regulation and bad CPTSD.
Not sure what’s more frustrating, running into issues with nearly every single piece of paperwork I’ve processed today with no supervisors available, which is immediate, or the top levels of government lying to cover for their private army of overpaid jackboots, which is broader in scope.

Imho the most conservative (the “most benefit of doubt” definition) position is “all ICE operations should be suspended indefinitely, until an independent review is complete and further action is determined.”

This is not however what I actually think, since imo they were NEVER acting in good faith.

This is the LIE the Forest Service is propagating to justify logging OUR National Forest to satisfy the increased logging requirements put forward by THEIR rich Nazi president.

At bottom is link to where the public may comment until January 12.

Okay, sat it out, got some useful info to research and spread further later.

MOST VITAL; the forest service public comment period on the Mount Baker Snoqualmie National Forest Thinning Project (ie, they’re opening more of the area to commercial logging with fire safety as an excuse) ends Jan 12.
