It's a disaster, but at least this way it's REAL obvious which of the two parties gutted the CDC, and refused to negotiate unless they could cut healthcare, etc, etc. Hopefully the enemy's goddamn media and churches can't successfully blame the Dems for this.

I mean this is what Schumer was afraid of last time through; if Dems don't give in to blackmail by a hostile occupation government, said Republicans gut everything they don't like (you know, the parts of the government that doesn't beat heads). 'Course if they DID give way... we did that already.

They're ready for a Dubya or even Trump's first term, they're not really prepped for unprecedented flood of EAs, hostile invasion of states, the complete compliance of all Republicans. They're only a little less out of their depth than we are.
