It’s actually Election Day tomorrow… in Louisiana!

I’m watching: the New Orleans sheriff race, and the New Orleans mayor’s race.

Both in my cheat sheet of elections to watch this fall!

Excellent and prescient choice. I’m sure the DC media tomorrow will respond rationally with a view towards the greater good

The problem with the left is many in lefty media think if something has been written in one outlet, it can’t be reiterated or mentioned in another outlet. The right reiterates lies, deceit every single fucking day, so much so they create their own universe of shorthand knowledge of (false) scandals

I get this.

That said, I’m not sure why this is being written — or getting such a response — today, since people have been writing versions of this at least since the court said it was hearing arguments over “universal injunctions” in the birthright citizenship case.

It is pretty galling that the Supreme Court spent four years telling Biden "you can't do that without Congress" then allowed Trump to seize a once-unthinkable amount of power from Congress within nine months and concentrate law-making authority almost entirely in the executive branch.

What’s the word where you’re from that, when pronounced exactly as it looks, identifies a tourist immediately?

And transcends taking political situations (especially media atmosphere) into context! I do realize where your brave nonpartisan independence leads us

I think Nader’s campaign handed Bush Florida which gave us two wars and a financial crisis we could’ve avoided. I think your “blame both parties” bullshit (when you clearly know the power of collective action) is very foolhardy

Wasting any time blaming obama for trump is truly insane to me.
jasonpuckett.bsky.social
Yeah, get those Obama supporters! They really brought this on!! It’s important to remain cynical and never support either party, they are exactly the same

The key is they aren’t getting rid of it forever. If there is a Democratic president again, they will stop every executive action. This is a corrupt and illegitimate body
