Lion goes up there when he is there for a furmeet a friend of his runs every year.
It is a public road with a 60kph speed limit and the pigs are always lurking with cameras to catch those tempted to go faster.

The park at the top of Mount Panorama ( Lion calls it 'Bogan Park' because of all the drunk bogans that camp there on Race days. He doesn't know its real name.) is a beautiful low noise HF radio location for playing ham radio in. He has had a few contacts to Europe from there .

Lion grows Pyrethrum daisies in his vege garden for the bugs to commit suicide on. Seems to work.
He uses Sulphur dust on the mites on his Tomatoes. Seems to work too.

When the weather radar starts showing 'phantom rain' out to sea, lion knows a temp inversion is happening and to expect rediculously good VHF propagation anong the NSW coast.
A temp inversion forms a Giant VHF 'waveguide' up and down the coast. Lion once heard the 2m repeater in Lismore, in Sydney.
