That cover gives de-aged De Niro in The Irishman vibes.

There is a new Turkish colleague in my new job that has three cats. We have had many chats.

Although not my favourite Giallo (a) all Giallo is entertaining and (b)that means I can post away to my heart's content and not be too mad about missing anything. Also, and most importantly, it's Edwige Fenech being directed by sleazy Sergio, so all in all perfect for #BeyondFriday

For #BeyondFriday this week we had to go horror. And we just had to go giallo with Sergio Martino's deeply strange, unnerving and delirious All the Colors of the Dark. Come for the weirdness, stay for Edwige Fenech. See you at 11pm on Friday.

A delectably odd film that has one of the best title cards that you will ever lay your pretty eyes on in the glorious month of October.

In general that's fair but in this instance I am being very generous.

They put a sexually suggestive label on this because of the film poster. Lmfao.

I would watch videos of people being executed before I would watch this shite again.

On a recent rewatch I enjoyed the season. It certainly has problems with believability and the newspaper stuff feels a bit 'inside baseball' with Simon but as you say, the absurdist black comedy of it wins through.

Yeah I am really looking forward to it.

Dr. Giggles: Very silly at points and some variable performances but a surprisingly gory comedy horror works well. The villain has legs (could see a franchise) and lots of medical related puns. A touch of Larry Cohen, though broader in style. Fun.

Writing is how poor people, as long as they have something to say that continues to be meaningful, can live forever. Rich people too, obviously, but they rarely have that much of interest to say.
