It just means that now disbursement of the funds allocated by Congress is threatened... since there is nobody left to direct the payments where they need to go so the kids continue to get the services they are legally entitled to.

Trump thinks only liberals want to take care of special needs kids.

Not to mention that FY24 RDTE funds (two year money) become FY24 MILPERS funds (one year money) when transferred… which means you just forced the money to expire.

Which means only solution is babyface Johnson needs to get the House back in session to pass a troop pay bill.

There was only $99B in RDTE funds issued in 2024. Maybe $8B remaining (two year money).

Of that $8B “general transfer authority”, how much remains? It is cumulative…

The monthly military paycheck is $14B.

To pay all the troops requires Congress to authorize a higher limit via bill.

Of that $6B "General Transfer Authority", there is a good possibility that much of it was already used up in the normal day to day business of the Pentagon.

Not counting craziness like building border walls or funding border guards...

RDTE annual budget is $99B. There is maybe $8B left of FY24 money.

The monthly military paycheck is $15B. Which exceed GTA, requiring Congress to pass a bill.

At no time does any R&D project has "two years of funds". On October 1st, they get the current years of funds (unless the government is shutdown), usually doled out in increments, and they have a few months of funds from the previous year.

No "current year funds"... cause no appropriation bill.

Government laboratories spent most of the money allotted on Oct 1st, 2024 over the past year. Typically there is a few months of money left depending on the funding profile and the project.

And it is ILLEGAL to transfer R&D funds to pay for O&M. That requires Congress to pass a bill authorizing it.

Nope.

"Research and Development" funds are "two year funds", which means once they are issued on October 1st, you have two fiscal years to use them before they expire.

As of October 1st, 2025, only R&D money issued since Oct 1st 2024 is available to spend.

B-2 fly out of Whiteman AFB in Missouri, and B-52 out of Minot AFB in ND and Barksdale in LA.

Name another country where we have built a stateside dedicated “training base” so they can learn to use the military hardware we sell them.

This is not “business as usual”.

In the past, we have simply included foreign military in our existing classes that train our military. We sit side by side.

Sounds like Chicago PD should be filing assault charges against ICE.

And the Illinois AG should file an emergency motion for the judge to update the “don’t assault journalists TRO”. Since ICE is ignoring the existing one… and the Constitution.
