First time is saw this video it was at the Roxie, in the Mission in SF. Some freak put on a show that was just James Brown and Dylan video clips, but on the big screen. What a concept, you could walk in and out, drink beers, no one cared. We were so high, it was amazing.

This new Warfield release ❤️ got me thinkin'. Oh boy, by 1991 JGB had LOTS of tunes. Here's a lil query to demonstrate. I am counting 1991 as the top year, 1975 and 1976 are tilted by wasted piano guys hogging the mic. jerrybase.com/saved_search...

JGB distinct songs by year

1976 does not really count due to the James Booker stint, and a lot of the songs from 1975 are just Nicky singing with the band applying minimal backup.

I did not run the numbers yet, but I would not be surprised if this run of shows has the most variety of any 3 successive shows that JGB had played up the that point.
