Oh it's so scary. That's a daylight movie with friends for me!
I'm always complaining about why people flake so easily, I hadn't put it together before tho!
Ok this explains why I'm the person who always reaches out and never flakes, but clearly I need more ex-Mormon friends because the rest of y'all don't keep up!
I have two friends who are ex Mormons and they are the best of all of my friends at reaching out to hang out or do something together /and/ they almost never flake and I need this to be studied.
God this is sexy.
Tracy Letts should host everything
There were several people up high on a balcony at a swanky luxury condo building in Durham looking down at the protesters as we marched by. Gave off a real king-looking-down-on-the-peasants vibe which is not what I'd recommend at an event that is called No Kings.
Good idea, I'm not sure I have time for it before anyway!
Sometimes this can be dangerous because the book gets too heavily imposed on the movie. But it is possible for it to enhance the movie, so it isn't necessarily a bad idea.
I forgot to read FRANKENSTEIN 3 months before the movie comes out, my preferred reread before film adaptation timeline, and now I can't decide if I should read it now anyway even though the movie is only a couple weeks away.
One of my favorite Utah fun facts is that when I lived there they would edit American Pie on the radio. Not for time. For Satan.
Oh this is very smart, next time I get asked about soaking I will say it is Mormon fanfiction, great description.
And some people will! I don't really blame anyone for feeling paranoid, especially if ICE has been active in their city. It doesn't really hurt anyone to be safe. But it also is unlikely to hurt anyone to be just mostly safe and not perfect.
Posting them is definitely not recommended. The worry of taking them at all is not as big but if you were arrested (which is unlikely not not zero) the worry is they'd use any photos you'd taken to implicate other people. So taking but not posting is middle ground but still has risk.
Honestly it's not far off!
The 30+ age group casting here is very confusing.
Oh this is such sad news. I'm sorry to hear it, her work was really meaningful.

Magic Mike XXL Criterion Collection when?????????
The one I find myself recommending all the time is Feast While You Can from last year. Or I really enjoyed A Game in Yellow this year.

I loved the pastor and his wife vibes! I love it when a movie feels like it's in a real place with real people and the church nailed that.
I know! The pastor/wife vibes are hilarious and I loved them.
For some reason none of the marketing for the movie ROOFMAN tells you that Uzo Aduba plays a pastor's wife who sings her ass off at church services, which was the highlight of the whole movie for me.
It's often the charity of choice you'll see in a checkout line they ask if you want to donate to. Whenever it happens I tell the checkout person I know it isn't their decision but they should tell their manager that it's they're harmful to autistic people and hope they report it up the chain.
Oh I think lots of musical people have no idea what it is! I have seen people with season tickets walk out of musicals they paid $$ to see walk out. They never learn.
I totally agree but also this always happens with musicals that don't have squeaky clean subject matter. Though I do remember being very shocked as an overprotected teenager when I found out what Kiss of the Spider Woman was actually about!
Got home at 10:30 and was just going to go to bed but my legs were chilly to the touch and I decided tonight would be the first bath of the season. Was a good decision.
