Almost all their clients are Black people who love Jesus - I will eat my shoe if any of those good people voted for this.

I read about a food bank that has been offering 96 lbs of food (must be monthly) that was down to 30 lbs and will have to keep dropping assistance like that.
My local food bank said this morning they are worried. They get more clients every week and are run on private donations.

A small food bank in my area (Louisiana) funded by independent donations only says they are getting worried. They are receiving more clients every week.

I think the feds will fund SNAP again, but that won't change the price of groceries, which is way too high.

How is anyone affording this?

I’ve been thinking a lot about a new kind of polling I’d like to see. We have polling that measures public opinion, which is obviously important, but I’d love to see a little more empirical work on public knowledge: what do voters know about politics and policy?

I live in a 76% Maga area and it's not enough to ask if voters are informed.

You must also ask if what they know is the opposite of the truth.

My neighbors think the Republicans are fighting to restore SNAP, and that Democrats are blocking them.

They think the exact opposite of what is real.
