Vice Chairman, Senate Intel Committee.
Congratulations to my good friend, Don Scott, on his unanimous re-election as Speaker of the House of Delegates! Virginia is fortunate to have his leadership.

In just a year, Trump has so damaged the United States’ reputation that Germany and the UK are talking about SENDING TROOPS TO GREENLAND. How many more allies will we turn against us?
January 14, 2026 at 11:19 PM
Don’t let them distract you. Trump promised lower costs – we just saw the highest grocery inflation in years.

He doesn’t care about your costs.
January 14, 2026 at 8:17 PM
@schumer.senate.gov just attempted to again pass BIPARTISAN, House-passed legislation to extend ACA tax credits and lower costs for millions – Senate Republicans blocked it.

They are purposefully spiking costs for MILLIONS of Americans. But we will stay in the fight.

Watch this. @slotkin.senate.gov lays out exactly what it looks like when a president uses the FBI and DOJ as political weapons to punish free speech.

The goal is clear: intimidate critics and chill dissent.
Last week, the U.S. Attorney for D.C. asked to interview me because of a 90-second video that President Trump didn't like.

The intimidation *is the point*. And it’s not going to work.

Watch my full response.

Trump is threatening to unravel our country’s greatest alliance.
January 14, 2026 at 4:22 PM
BTW, they still haven’t fulfilled their promise to release all the Epstein Files.

Senate Republicans have once again refused to do anything to lower health care costs or protect Americans’ health coverage.
January 13, 2026 at 10:29 PM
The Senate needs to come together and vote to save the health care coverage of 1.8 million Americans.
January 13, 2026 at 7:25 PM
We’ve all heard that Donald Trump is attacking Jerome Powell & the independence of the Fed… but what does that mean for your costs? Today, I explain ⬇️
January 13, 2026 at 4:04 PM
This administration’s rampant Islamophobic rhetoric and actions are dangerous and unconscionable.
January 13, 2026 at 2:13 AM
Donald Trump promised an end to forever wars. Instead, the list of countries he’s intervening in just keeps growing and growing.
January 13, 2026 at 12:51 AM
The United Kingdom and Germany are literally considering sending troops to Greenland to try and calm US threats.

What the hell are we doing? Why are we turning our closest allies against us?
January 13, 2026 at 12:03 AM
From the President who promised you lower costs and an end to forever wars:

Threats against a half-dozen countries across the globe
Skyrocketing health insurance costs
No action on grocery prices

Targeting the independence of the Federal Reserve, establishing a years-long blockade in Venezuela, attacking six nations in under a year, and acting as if ICE is above the law… Trump is chaos.
January 12, 2026 at 4:41 PM
The Fed was designed to operate independently, insulated from political pressure, so that it can make tough decisions based on data and the long-term health of the economy, not the whims of any one president.
January 12, 2026 at 4:03 AM
Republicans passed a $75 BILLION budget for ICE, and are funding an enormous armada in Venezuela, but somehow can’t find the money to keep your health insurance costs down.
January 9, 2026 at 7:57 PM
Trump is more focused on imperialist ambitions abroad than he is on lowering costs at home.

22 million Americans just had their health care costs skyrocket. Why are we talking about aggression towards Greenland?
January 8, 2026 at 10:20 PM
Republicans passed a $75 billion budget for ICE – bigger than almost every military on earth.

They’ve deployed thousands of poorly-vetted agents.

Agents act with impunity because this admin acts like they can.

But ICE is not above the law. We need a full, real investigation.
January 8, 2026 at 10:00 PM
Servicemembers’ parents are calling me worried – they don’t want their kids deployed abroad in a conflict with no clear objectives or end.

What is the plan here? Why don’t we have any answers for them?
January 8, 2026 at 9:00 PM
HUGE – a few Republicans finally found their spine and voted to take the first step towards reining in Trump’s chaos in Venezuela!

America owes a debt of gratitude to @kaine.senate.gov, who has fought to rein in presidential overreach and force abroad for years. His moral clarity makes us stronger.
January 8, 2026 at 5:10 PM
For months, we’ve been warning that Trump’s enormous growth and reckless empowerment of ICE – which has a bigger budget than the militaries of almost every country on earth – would have serious consequences. (1/2)
January 7, 2026 at 10:01 PM
Trump is more worried about controlling foreign oil than he is about Americans not being able to afford the cost of living. This is not putting America first.
January 7, 2026 at 6:09 PM
Don’t let it go unnoticed in the chaos of this week: RFK Jr’s changes to the vaccine schedule – with no science to back it up – is another dangerous attack on the health of our kids. Vaccines save lives. We shouldn’t be making it harder for parents to access care.
January 6, 2026 at 9:54 PM
Now, Trump threatens Greenland, Colombia, and Mexico.

Where is the line? When will Republicans find a spine to say this is ridiculous and dangerous?
