My talking about dnd and my character sparked the imagination of an artist on here who asked me if they could draw her for me. So cool! Anyways @synodicwanderer.bsky.social just sent me the art of my character Verynn Doyle, a half elf rogue swashbuckler/fighter duelist battlemaster. It's awesome.

Excellent, shared! Numbers look good on the voting for that too. I mean, it's not likely to change too many minds at Disney considering everything, but maybe the shift is happening sooner compared to past franchise installments?

ugh, that's.. yeah. Very annoying. I think some overseas call centres might be doing stuff like that now though.

My guess is that it's a filter on all their calls to disguise that the call centre isn't American.

IT at my workplace emailed out ~noon CST that Microsoft was experience an outage on part of their systems, so that might be what is/was going on.

They really should have. The direction she was heading with this series would've filled in so much context for the movies and the Star Wars universe. As a fandom lore geek, I'm sad to miss out on that. (It's not all about Oshamir w me!)

Makes complete sense. My mom's best friend from high school and beyond was my closest Auntie. When she passed away during COVID, it was devastating.
