Reminder for those of us with feline friends. Milk and cheese are OK for some cats, but many are lactose intolerant. I found out the hard way when I noticed by eldest would get the runs when she nibbled on cheesy stuff or drank some milk.

Indeed, it seems like most of social media these days is wielded as a personal hammer for all the 'nails' who disagree with you. This place reminds me of the early days of such platforms that were mostly fun and silly with moments that would occasionally restore your faith in humanity.

This moment in Bluesky is a great example of how joy itself can be defiance and resistance.

We are just hanging out, shitposting, being silly, happy, and normal. It is being treated as if it is transgressive, opting out of the endless negativity. Because in a way, it is.

Low key older data guy always submitting corrections because management wants big numbers on their charts and deadlines met, which just leads to constant errors and 'shortcuts' to hit quotas that wind up doubling the work. Folks getting it right the first time frees others up for other/new stuff.
