Yes! I think 'core theology' should open up these connections, engaging more field, helping more students situate their major in a broader perspective. I think it should also connect to more faculty, helping them to see their work within the overall mission of the school.

His distinctions (and your book) helped me, especially in terms of distinguishing audiences. Too often, core theology was being reduced to catechetics or apologetics, but these do not really capture what many of us do in our core theology classes.

Working on my book about Catholic higher education. Turns out research suggests that cuts—tuition, programs, core, faculty— don't save colleges. They may give a short-term boost but often make things worse long-term. Cuts frame education economically and make the college look like a discount store.

Who are the most likely to rarely feel lonely?

I thought it was the highly educated. But it's not.

It's people with the highest income.

If you compare people at the same income level, education is completely inconsequential when it comes to self reported loneliness.
