Yes, he can't resist the drama. If he hadn't commented, this would barely be news. 90% of the US literally pays zero attn to Canada unless s/o is loudly pointing out somethg that's happened here. (Or unless it's hot celebrity news reported in the tabloids. 🙄)

IMO he should remove it, but not bc Trump is threatening. More as a show of solidarity w the fed govt. It's already got ppls attn due to T's overreaction. Either way, T won't stop ranting. Keeping Cda out of his direct ranting range has been a good strategy; it's bought relative quiet & some time.

Ford posted w/o considering the consequences for fed negotiations (yes, negotiations) underway. I know, the bullies are bullying; they never stop. The US has always bullied to some extent. Now it's obviously worse, but there are still ppl working behind the scenes & he's made their work harder.

I agree with what the ad says, but Ford was reckless to air it without considering the effect it will have on months of painstaking federal negotiations. Ford doesn't represent the federal government, not that I would expect Trump to understand the distinction. 🙄

They know perfectly well it wasn't Carney. Carney has been handling Trump with kid gloves. Which I'm sure they berate him for out of the other side of their mouths.

If they do this, let's hope it backfires spectacularly.

Conservatism and CPC aren't the same thing. Conservatism is a range of ideological beliefs. We just haven't seen the moderate variety for a while. It would take some guts in this era.

Notice how it’s always, “the Bible must inform our laws!” until it comes to the +2,000 verses in the Bible that discuss the generous use of wealth and possessions in a way that prioritizes the needs of the poor, this sick, the stranger, the vulnerable, and the oppressed.

Voters should pick their representatives, not the other way around. Glad to get the chance to talk to some of the volunteers and organizers doing the hard work to make sure Prop 50 passes. This vote will have critical implications, not just for California, but for our entire country.
