The Bills have waived LB Jimmy Ciarlo from the 53-man roster. This, along with the move to put DT T.J. Sanders and S Damar Hamlin on IR, now has the Bills at 50 of 53 spots filled. Two are obviously for DE Michael Hoecht/DT Larry Ogunjobi by October 20. That makes room for one other move by Week 8.

Bills HC Sean McDermott once again brings up "managing expectations" and "being realistic" when it comes to rookie CB Maxwell Hairston if/when they open up the 21-day practice window considering all the practice time he's missed this year.

Bills HC Sean McDermott said rookie CB Maxwell Hairston continues to move in the right direction, and said there is a possibility they open the 21-day practice window. Hairston was last seen doing more along the sidelines with S&C staff during practice before the Falcons game.

Bills HC Sean McDermott said DT DaQuan Jones is "week-to-week" with a calf injury. WR Joshua Palmer is also "week-to-week" with an ankle injury. LB Matt Milano, WR Curtis Samuel and TE Dalton Kincaid is "day-to-day."

Bills HC Sean McDermott said he has not considered taking over play-calling duties from DC Bobby Babich. He said he has a lot of confidence in Babich and thought they did some good things in the second half.

The Bills have looked absolutely terrible and unprepared in the first half.

That said, they're still down two scores, getting the ball back, and Josh Allen has overcome worse. I'm not saying it will happen. But, when Allen gets pissed, which he probably is right now, I'm not ruling out anything.

Absolutely embarrassing end of first half from the Bills. Ingram falls down in coverage and Drake London nearly house calls it as the Falcons are playing for a FG.

They are extremely lucky London stepped OOB. Get out of jail free card only down 21-7 rather than 28-7.

Bills starting MLB Terrel Bernard now getting checked on by athleti trainers after getting blocked, and then with S Taylor Rapp getting blocked into his leg while he was on the ground after the play finished.

Bernard is up and walking under his own power to the sidelines.
