November 21, 2025 at 1:53 AM
Doesn't look like QB Josh Allen is being checked on the sidelines, he grabbed his tablet and is back to his normal post-series preparation.
November 21, 2025 at 1:49 AM
Bills QB Josh Allen is down after the play and in obvious pain.
November 21, 2025 at 1:46 AM
Matt Milano is back on the field for nickel. Looks like they're taking him off for base defense. That's a change from the norm.
November 21, 2025 at 1:35 AM
To begin the second defensive series, the Bills are in base defense with three linebackers, and Matt Milano is not on the field. Terrel Bernard, Shaq Thompson and Dorian Williams.
November 21, 2025 at 1:33 AM
The Bills did not have WR Tyrell Shavers on either the opening kickoff or the kickoff after their opening TD. He's been on that unit for most of the season.

A sign that his offensive role is growing. He played 8 of their first 10 snaps on the opening offensive series.
November 21, 2025 at 1:32 AM
Based on the first snap of 11-on-11 in warups, the Bills defensive starting lineup looks the same as last week in the back seven. Bernard and Milano at LB, Benford and White at CB, Bishop and Poyer at S.

There's 10! Thanks everyone for another fun round of #AskJoeB. Bills vs. Texans in about an hour. Talk to you all at kickoff!

10. As much as the counting stats haven't been there, he has been a highly valuable defensive piece for them this season in pressure he provides and how he defends the edge. Based on the film, I think he's played really well every week since their Week 3 win over the Dolphins.
November 21, 2025 at 12:21 AM
9. That seems like sound logic. He's only been with the Bills for a week. My guess right now is that the Phidarian Mathis roster spot will eventually belong to Morgan Fox, but will depend on DT injuries and how Fox performs if/when he gets elevated. They need another DE so that Sanders can play DT.

8. Knowing that based on what has happened this season this could be quite wrong, I think this could be a potential get-right spot for the Bills run defense. DTs have played better, I like the matchup vs. the OL and the LBs get Shaq Thompson back today.
November 21, 2025 at 12:13 AM
7. Ko Simpson.

6. I am extremely interested in what Shaq Thompson's role will be this evening. Thompson hasn't played the last three games, and has also been a strength for them when on the field. If there's any movement at LB, he's the one to watch in my opinion.
