I want to make it clear that UNISON is made of 1.4 million members, who have passed motions which directly oppose Phillipson's politics

The decision on who to support was made by the Labour link Exec - a very small group of people.

This does not represent the views of UNISON's members at large

I hope he sees all the anti Trump stuff during his UK visit.

His politics are awful, he's a racist and a rapist, but also he's just incredibly rude in his manner and we really don't like that in the UK.

The size of the far-right demonstration organised by Tommy Robinson in London this weekend is a cause for alarm.

UNISON must oppose the far right in practice, but also lead a genuine fight to improve living standards.
