Until this harms Trump in a tangible way no tides have turned. We don't get to pat ourselves on the back until Trump and all his ilk are tried, convicted, and living in the room they'll spend the rest of their life in.

3.5% of the population in a SUSTAINED protest is not only illegal, but a grandiose fool's idea.
Violence should NEVER be glorified, but it IS necessary when fighting authoritarians.
For every MLKjr there is a Malcolm & Black Panthers.

which cannot legally exist within the US's highly permited & regulated protest system.

When a local mayor or police chief can say "no you're not allowed to protest today",you're nothing but controlled opposition

Protesting outside that system is illegal & WILL end in violence FROM cops/natl guard.
