Saw @kofie.bsky.social 's video about the NHL season starting and I can confirm: Canes games are up there for best atmosphere in hockey. Loud as hell, plenty of passionate fans, and you get to hear the dulcet tones of Wade Minter.

Ticket prices aren't cheap, but that's anything nowadays, eh?

It seems my preparation for my first NBA game of the season in November goes back to watching NBA players fight each other and I have no idea where this even came from.

Idk if this is because I like fights in any sport or what, but I find these fascinating.

Indeed. Like I said, his tantrums are eventually gonna get him and his entire cabinet in shit they won't get out of intact. He wants to pick a fight with everyone without understanding that enemies DO fight back, usually in a way that ends with you losing.

That is an oofta. We had something similar happen on the return flight to Charlotte where they had us sit at Charlotte Airport on the runway for half an hour or so because they managed to have a plane at the gate we were supposed to land at. My mom's body was getting to be in pain during that.

Now I'm wondering who tried to suggest this was a good move because even as a WWE watcher that likes the talent, I knew this was never gonna be a great move for the indies. We're lucky it didn't lead to WWE succeeding in monopolizing the indies and squeezing competition out from working with them.

That's usually what I do for rehoming them. Either selling them to friends or coworkers at cheaper than eBay with all the bells and whistles. Failing that, they go on the shelf of reclaimed systems, waiting to be used for something.

Makes sense. I usually try to find good homes for these things, but failing that, I save them from getting junked, make sure they aren't busted to hell, get ARK on them, boom, confetti. I need a hell of a lot of batteries, though. I don't have nearly enough batteries.

I've met some truly great people because of social media.

I've had several friend meetups that spawned from friendships started on social media.

Social media ain't perfect, but it sure does have good stuff.

Between that and the Epstein files saga, there's gonna be a major bombshell or six that'll get dropped soon enough that'll probably end this regime in quick order.

From what I saw, they looked great. I hope I get to see them play at the potential playoff game I'm wanting to go to this season. Biggest thing is getting the timing worked out because I usually try and plan trips super far in advance and I can't exactly do that here.

Well, they realize that the NFL is seen by far more people than WWE has ever had, even at their peak, so they probably think Bad Bunny being on the Super Bowl would make the US look bad or something, even though the GOP makes the US look bad all on their own.
