Big spot for Seiya. Patrick is almost entirely cutter, sinker, fastball. Suzuki has a near .400 wOBA against all three on the year.

Credit to Misiorowski. He's buried the slider like he should. It's an elite shape and the most elite velo slider in baseball by 2mph. You can't hit it if he buries it. Credit to Miz.

It's the fourth inning so nothing is final, but this feels pivotal. You get this out, and you keep it to one swing. You give up a double and this might break open enough where you can't come back.

Back on Aug. 20, Suzuki belted a 100+ mph fastball from Misiorowski to nearly the same right-center spot, but at Wrigley. And the wind blew that 22 feet back for a deep flyout, per Statcast (via @slangsonsports.bsky.social).

No wind here with the AmFam roof closed.
