I'm an mp3 guy. Was late on Napster/file sharing - but the iPod was the dream. Ripping Library CDs, finding free blog downloads. YouTube to MP3 bootlegs. Putting most of my music on shuffle. Making infinite playlists. Still buy mp3 from iTunes/Bandcamp. Still connect my iPod to my laptop

one morning this week seemed like not enough cars took advantage of the parking so the lane was open for good stretches.

I'm on a moped, and live back in the Marquette neighborhood so I just divert to Jenifer on my way home.

this is good explainer, and confirms what I thought was the case - they manufactured the albums themselves at much lower costs that the actual record labels

I got most of my CDs from Columbia House/BMG for many years right up until their end.
