I know a guy who develops these, and it’s not quantifiable from his end.

Speaking anecdotally, our office just switched to a cloud-based file system to avoid the cost of owning/maintaining our own internal servers and to repurpose the server room. Happy to be wrong but that’s a broad trend, no?
